MONTAGUE AND COLLEAGUES’ CONSTRUCTION SAFETY PROJECT RECEIVES NIOSH GRANT

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)/Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has awarded a $583,125 grant to a team that includes Industrial and Systems Engineering Assistant Professor Enid Montague for a project called “Dust-control Usage: Strategic Technology Intervention (DUSTI).” The grant is part of a recent $7 million grant that supports seven projects involving 19 faculty from six universities in two countries that encompasses an array of critical areas affecting safety and health in construction.
